What does a boat really cost in Florida?
Florida has more registered boats than any other state, year-round boating, and costs that national calculators often miss: hurricane plans, warm-water hull growth, salt corrosion and some of the highest slip prices in the country. Florida Boat Cost brings those factors together in free calculators and plain-English guides, with every estimate labeled and every official fee sourced.

How our numbers work
Official fees, such as vessel registration and title fees, come straight from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) fee chart and Florida Statutes. Everything else, such as slip rates, insurance premiums and service costs, is a planning range built from published price information and labeled as an estimate.
